| I was not interested by sculpture. That because it missed elements that were essential for me : graphics and color. Influenced by the esthetics of the Seventies, I carried out my first geometrical painted steels. I did not venture into color and limited myself to black and metallic values. From 1990 I assembled polychrome steel plates which contours resulted from almost instantaneous tags. Most of these shapes and colors did not convince me, and I took me years to find the “ sound “ I was looking for. |
